Street Act Sells 4000 CD’s

Anthony Kupinic started Pludo with the help of bucket drummer Alex Cooper. Playing on street stages all over Australia has gotten them quite a following and a good deal of CD sales in the last few months.

Starts tonight with 32 opening acts entertaining visitors in Holland Michigan. Aerialists, magicians, acrobats musicians all there to entertain. The free public Street Performers Series that every Thursday from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. now until Aug. 29.


Appleton Fosters Creative Economy

It has started this week and it will continue all summer long. They call it Street Music Week Festival. Every weekday at the lunch hour all along College Avenue there will be music in the air/ Street performers will be playing and entertaining for a good cause as they raise money for Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin. The sister act duo seems to be starting out in Warringah at a good time too. Buskers One of their first performances netted them $70

Warringah Council is investigating promoting busking as a way of invigorating its town centres.

Cr Vanessa Moskal said there was a growing appreciation for the arts and a busking policy could help.

“To have a busking policy, like neighbouring regions, supports cultural activation in Warringah – and we’re an area already well known for producing great talent,” she said.
