Starts tonight with 32 opening acts entertaining visitors in Holland Michigan. Aerialists, magicians, acrobats musicians all there to entertain. The free public Street Performers Series that every Thursday from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. now until Aug. 29.

Every Thursday in the evening between 6:30 and 8:30 PM the performers will be out on the street. The city even got $40000 from the state for the summertime event which will go to paying the performers that participate. Perfomers will also be allowed to busk and sell cd’s during the evening.
It is intended for local buskers who already play regularly throughout the week in Holland to have a night where the streets are foll of performers and a festive atmosphere ensues. The Street Performer Series will begin June 13 every Thursday through Aug. 29, downtown Holland.
Those wishing to participate will need to fill out a special application form and must already have a performing permit from the City of Holland. The city will have judges fron the arts council and they will look at DVD’s and listen to CD’s and also hold an audition to pick the winners. They are looking for, many types of performance:
